David's Next Career Move

Hey, speaking of movies, I went to a VFX house on Friday, and I saw something really cool that you would like. It's, um, uh, this guy developed this, uh, this technology with David Fincher when they were doing The Social Network, and it's an egg. And basically, they basically can put any actor, they take all the big actors and they put them in this egg. Inside of it? Yeah, inside the egg. Virtually? No, no, it's a chair. And then there's lights. Imagine an egg all around me with lights and cameras everywhere behind me, in front of me. And then you spin in the egg and they can redo any line in a movie, anything. Oh. And so there's a lot of examples, but like the one example is like when Ryan Reynolds was doing Free Guy, they like tested the movie and they thought a lot of the jokes weren't hitting with the audiences. So he just goes back in and Ryan Reynolds like improvs like 100 jokes and they just put it right over. They take Ryan Reynolds' face and they put it right over Ryan Reynolds' face and they showed me the whole thing. I was like, it's literally like, like cut and paste. That's fucking so fucking cool.
